What you get

Purpose built
for one job.

Zen Teleprompter is designed for a single task and finished properly. Here is what that means in practice.

One script library

Draft, mirror, and present from a single place built for recording days.

Glass-ready controls

Controls stay readable when the script column flips for a glass teleprompter.

Record yourself reading it

Shoot the take in the app, with the script scrolling in a panel above the front camera so your eyes stay where the lens is. No second device, no reading off a laptop propped on a chair.

Cut the take without leaving

Trim the top and tail, let it find and remove the dead air as jump cuts, and adjust the speed. The take goes from recorded to usable in the same place you read it.

Know how long it runs before you shoot

Every script carries its word count and reading time, and you set the pace it assumes in words per minute, so a script written to a slot actually lands in it.

Three ways to run a script

Full screen for a prompter, mirrored for reading off teleprompter glass, or selfie style over the camera. Pick per script rather than per app.

Takes stay on device

Recording and library tools keep takes on your hardware first.

Optional private sync

Optional iCloud stays in your Apple ID, not a separate social layer.

Markdown-aware editing

Write with Markdown and it stays readable in the editor and on the prompter, so structure survives the trip from draft to delivery.

Cues and smooth scrolling

Scrolling is steady rather than jumpy, and cues mark where to pause, look up or change pace while you are reading.

Permissions

We ask in context,
and no is a complete answer.

Most apps ask for everything at launch and explain nothing. We ask for a permission where the feature lives, tell you what it unlocks, and keep the app working if you decline.

Nothing to start

Open the app and use it. No account, no email, no verification step before you can do the thing you came to do.

Asked where it matters

A permission request appears next to the feature that needs it, in plain language, at the moment you reach for that feature.

Saying no keeps everything

Decline and the app still does its job in full. Allow it and that one feature does a little more, on your device.

Questions

Zen Teleprompter,
answered plainly.

Is Zen Teleprompter on the App Store yet?

Yes. Zen Teleprompter is live on the App Store. You can download it for iPhone and iPad now.

Do I need an account to sync scripts?

Optional sync uses your Apple ID and CloudKit private database. You do not create a separate zenproducts login for script data.

Where do recordings go?

Takes are stored on your device and can be saved to Photos or Files when you choose. They are not uploaded to our servers as part of normal operation.

Will voice scroll assist work in every room?

Voice scroll assist is optional and beta-class. It depends on microphone permission, ambient noise, and how clearly you match the script. Plan on manual control as the reliable backup.
