Brand use

Writing about us? Use anything.
Selling something? Ask first.

That is the whole policy. The detail below exists so nobody has to email us to check, and so we do not end up in correspondence with one of the several unrelated companies that also have Zen in the name.

The name

zenproducts, one word, lowercase, in running text and headlines alike.

The registered entity is ZENPRODUCTS TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, written as registered when the company itself is meant rather than the products.

no permission needed

Please do
any of this.

If you are reviewing, comparing or reporting, you are covered. Go ahead.

Allowed

Use the logo and app icons in reviews, articles and roundups

No permission needed. That is what this page is for. Editorial use, in print or online, in any language.

Allowed

Write the name as one lowercase word, zenproducts

Not Zen Products, not ZenProducts. The registered company name is different and is written as registered when the legal entity is meant.

Allowed

Use the white logo on dark backgrounds and the dark logo on light

Both are supplied. Keep clear space of at least the height of the mark on every side, and do not place either on a busy photograph.

please do not

These need
a conversation first.

None of it is meant to make life difficult. Each one exists because it would confuse a reader about who made what.

Not without asking

Do not modify the logo

No recolouring, stretching, rotating, outlining, adding effects, or setting the wordmark in a different typeface. If you need a format we have not supplied, ask.

Not without asking

Do not imply endorsement or partnership

Our name or logo should not appear in a way that suggests we sponsor, endorse or are affiliated with your product, event or organisation, unless we have agreed that in writing.

Not without asking

Do not use the name or marks in your own product name, app, domain or company

That includes names that are confusingly similar. There are several unrelated companies with Zen in the name, and we would rather be clear than end up in correspondence with any of them.

Not without asking

Do not use the marks on merchandise or to sell anything

Editorial use is free. Commercial use of the marks is not, and needs a conversation first.

other people's marks

And the same
in reverse.

Our comparison pages name other products, and our apps run on other people’s platforms. Those names and logos belong to their owners, and we use them to identify the products themselves rather than to suggest any of them endorse us. Apple, App Store, iPhone, iPad and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc.

If you own a mark we have used and would like it handled differently, write to hello@zenproducts.ai and we will fix it rather than argue about it.
